Asian Center Alumni

Dear fellow Asian Center alumni

Greetings!

May I ask you to fill out this Google Form? The Alumni, Friends, and Benefactors of the Asian Center (AFBAC) hopes to compile an updated and comprehensive directory of Asian Center graduates. This way, all of us can keep in touch and develop a database of scholars who can share their expertise with each other (as peer reviewers, resource speakers, etc.) and organize lectures, conferences, and roundtables.

As of today, around forty alumni have filled out the Form, and we hope this number increases.

Anyway, a few alumni and officers of AFBAC held a meeting last 12 November at the Asian Center. We are now planning several activities and initiatives, on which we will keep you posted as soon as possible. We hope you can help us ensure all these come to fruition. There is much we can do to promote the study of Asia in the Philippines, especially in this “Asian Century.” And who is better equipped to do so than we graduates of the Asian Center?

In the meantime, please share this invitation to any fellow Asian Center alumni that you are still in touch with. We’ve tried hard to obtain email addresses through Google and the online registration system, but we weren’t able to collect everything. I hope you can help us disseminate this so that we can reach as many alumni as possible.

Sincerely yours,

REBECCA SAMSON-GADDI, Ph.D.
President, Alumni, Friends, and Benefactors of the Asian Center (AFBAC)

P.S. Please do not forget to fill out the Google Form for our directory. Thank you very much.
