The UP Asian Center will be holding Mauzek: Asian Society through Everyday Objects on from 12 November 2018 until 12:30 pm, 17 November 2018 at the UP Asian Center, Quezon City. . The event is free and open to the public, but participants are encouraged to sign up. 

The public is invited to attend Hugyaw, the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the College of Arts and Letters, the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy, and the Tricollege PhD Philippine Studies Program, on 23 October 2018, 5 pm – 7 pm, Palma Hall Lobby, University of the Philippines Diliman.

The UP Asian Center will host a symposium, Partnering for Development:  Philippines-Taiwan Cooperation in the Services Sector on 19 October 2018, Friday, 2:00 pm–4:30 pm, Seminar Room, UP Asian Center, Quezon City.

Enjoy and experience Thailand’s culture through its dances, games and food at Suk Jai Thailand: A Thai Cultural Fair on 28 August 2018, 1 pm–4 pm, UP Asian Center, QC.

The UP Asian Center will host a research forum, Japan Studies AcrossBorders, and the book launching of “Thinking Beyond the State: Migration, Integration, and Citizenship in Japan and the Philippines” on 16 August 2018, 1:00 pm–4:00 pm, Seminar Room, UP Asian Center, Quezon City. Both events are free and open to the public, but seating is first-come, first-served; interested participants are requested to sign up to receive any change to the program.
