The UP Asian Center proudly presents the revival of Musyawarah: The Asian Center Official Newsletter. The debut issue features contributions that highligt relevant issues and news within the Center and the University, such as distance learning and the COVID-19 pandemic.
As we open the new semester in a remote setup, the newsletter serves as a way to welcome and keep in touch with the students, faculty and stakeholders of the Asian Center.
These are just some of the articles featured in the issue.
• The Keynote: Data Gathering and Building Network in Indonesia (Graduate Essay)
• Dr. Aileen Baviera: Remembering the Legacy
• Remote Learning as UP’s Educational Strategy: Are We Really Ready?
• Asian Center’s General Health Guidelines in Battling COVID-19
Musyawarah is a Bahasa Indonesia term for “discussion.” It is a free quarterly newsletter of the UP Asian Center, initiated by its Research and Publications Office. Originally began in 2006, it showcases academic and literary submissions from students, faculty, and staff. It contains relevant news and updates within the university, regional updates on Asia and messages from Asian Center stakeholders. The newsletter also features new library acquisitions and upcoming events.
