The UP Asian Center will be holding a seminar-workshop, Thriving at the Asian Center: Managing Pressure, Preventing Burnout, and Strengthening Workplace Relationships, on 23 April 2026, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, PST (GMT+8), and 24 April 2026, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, PST (GMT+8), at the Seminar Room, UP Asian Center. The event is exclusively for the Asian Center Staff.

ABOUT THE EVENT

In today’s fast-paced academic and administrative environment, employees often face increasing levels of pressure that may lead to stress and burnout. At the University of the Philippines Asian Center, maintaining employee well-being is essential to sustaining productivity, fostering collaboration, and ensuring a positive workplace culture. This seminar aims to provide staff with practical strategies to manage workplace stress, prevent burnout, and strengthen professional relationships. It will focus on promoting mental wellness, emotional resilience, and effective communication among colleagues.

Specifically, the activity aims to:

      1. help participants recognize signs of stress and burnout
      2. introduce practical stress management and self-care techniques,
      3. enhance interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills,
      4. foster a supportive and collaborative workplace environment, and
      5. contribute to overall employee well-being and organizational effectiveness.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

JERAIZA MAE D. MANANSALA
Registered Psychometrician

Jeraiza Mae D. Manansala is a Registered Psychometrician and Certified Human Resources Associate with a strong academic foundation in psychology and human resource management. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Pampanga State University and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Psychology, major in Industrial Psychology, at Adamson University. With professional experience as an HR Executive Officer and a background in recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, and organizational development, she brings a well-rounded perspective to workplace dynamics. Her credentials are further strengthened by specialized certifications in human resources, mental health, and labor-related practices, as well as extensive internship training in clinical, guidance, and industrial-organizational settings, including the National Center for Mental Health and the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation. These academic and professional experiences equip her with the expertise to effectively conduct seminar-workshops on managing pressure, preventing burnout, and strengthening workplace relationships.
