Following the success of the first Hiroshima International Conference on Peace and Sustainability (HICPS 2022), the Network for Education and Research on Peace and Sustainability (NERPS) at Hiroshima University and the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) will jointly host the NERPS Conference 2023 February 28 to March 3, 2023 at the AIT campus in Thailand.
The UP Asian Center is now accepting abstract submissions for Japanese Studies in the Philippines: The 9th Japanese Studies Research Development Competition. Undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled in Philippine Universities may submit any topic related to Japanese Studies (except topics that focus solely on natural sciences, medical sciences, and engineering). The deadline for submissions is 31 August 2026, 5:00 PM, PHT.
The UP Asian Center, in partnership with VNU University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam, will hold the online roundtable "Philippines-Vietnam: Neighbors in Dialogue" on 17 July 2026, 2:00 PM, Manila Time (1:00 PM, Hanoi Time), online via Zoom.
