    The UP Asian Center together with the University of the Philippines (UP) Office of the President, through the UP Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs—Office of Student Development Services (OVPAA-OSDS), and UP CIFAL Philippines will host the two-day capacity-building event, "Champions of Change and Innovation: UP Youth Summit on Sustainable Development Goals." Asian Studies: Journal of Critical Perspectives on Asia is a peer-reviewed journal published since 1963 by the Asian Center, University of the Philippines Diliman.

The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, University of the Philippines Diliman has issued a memorandum that discusses, as of 27 March 2020, updates regarding classes, academic deadlines, and upcoming decisions on how the university will proceed with the second semester.

This essay was written by Huaigao QI, Vice Dean and Associate Professor of Institute of International Studies at Fudan University.

Dr. Aileen S.P. Baviera, Professor and former Dean of the UP Asian Center, passed away in the early morning of 21 March 2020. She was 60.

As part of the University of the Philippines’ compliance with the enhanced community quarantine amidst the rising cases of CoVid-19, the faculty and staff of the UP Asian Center will be working from home from 17 March 2020 to 14 April 2020.
