  • Champions of Change and Innovation: UP Youth Summit on Sustainable Development Goals

    The UP Asian Center together with the University of the Philippines (UP) Office of the President, through the UP Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs—Office of Student Development Services (OVPAA-OSDS), and UP CIFAL Philippines will host the two-day capacity-building event, "Champions of Change and Innovation: UP Youth Summit on Sustainable Development Goals." The event is open to all Constituent Units of the University of the Philippines.

This May, three Southeast Asia majors of the UP Asian Center present their theses online via Zoom, the first batch to do so in the 55-year-history of the college.

Compassion and academic excellence are twin values that our community upholds. The challenge now is how to uphold both values despite the constraints of our context.

Dr. Renato S. Velasco, alumnus of the UP Asian Center, passed away last 4 April 2020, at the age of 66.
