    The UP Asian Center will be holding the onsite public lecture and exhibit "From Negatives to Narratives: The Analog Heritage of the Asian Centeron 23 February 2026, 1:00 - 3:30 PM, PST (GMT+8), at the Seminar Room, UP Asian Center, University of the Philippines Diliman. The Asian Center, University of the Philippines Diliman End-of-Term Report 2021-2024 is now available for download.  The report contains the highlights, projects, and achievements during the three-year term of incumbent Dean Henelito A. Sevilla, Jr., Ph.D. beginning August 2021 to 2024. 

Six (6) UP Asian Center faculty members received the 2024 UP Diliman Centennial Professorial Chairs and Faculty Grants in recognition of their research and mentoring efforts in the previous year. The award was formally conferred during the University Council meeting on 21 October 2024.

The UP Asian Center will hold the public lecture "The Tibetan Struggle: Search for Freedom and Justice" on 25 October 2024, 9:30 AM, PST (GMT+8), Online via Zoom. The event is free and open to the public. The event is free and open to the public. Online registration is required.

The 2024 Search Committee for the Deanship of the UP Asian Center will be holding a Public Forum and Stakeholder Interviews as part of the search for the next AC Dean. We invite everyone to participate in the forum and interviews scheduled for 15 - 16 October 2024 at the Seminar Room, GT-Toyota Asian Center. The forum will be conducted onsite and virtually while the stakeholder meetings will be held by appointment only.
