  • Trans-Pacific Sustainability Dialogue 2025 | An Onsite Forum

    The UP Asian Center is co-hosting the Trans-Pacific Sustainability Dialogue 2025 on 10 November 2025 at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel and 11 November 2025 at the GT-Toyota Asian Center Auditorium, 9 AM - 5 PM, PHT (Manila Time). The UP Asian Center will host the webinar, “China’s Economy in Long-term Perspective” on 21 November 2023, 9 AM, GMT+8 (20 November 2023, 8 PM, EST) via Zoom. The event is free and open to the public. Registration is required.

The UP Asian Center, together with the Embassy of Japan, the UP Center for International Studies, and  will host the theater production, “Rakugo in English” on 23 November 2023, Thursday, 6:00 PM (GMT+8) at the GT-Toyota Auditorium, Asian Center, Diliman. The event is free and open to the public.

The UP Asian Center, in partnership with the Department of Foreign Affairs, will host the webinar, “Philippine Studies Abroad: Promoting the Filipino Identity in a Multicultural, Multipolar World” on 29 November 2023, 3PM, (GMT+8), via Zoom. The event is free and open to the public but registration is required.

In support of the University’s goal of internationalization, the Asian Center, University of the Philippines Diliman received Her Excellency Megawati Manan, Ambassador of Brunei to the Philippines,​ last 6 October 2023.

The UP Asian Center is now accepting applications for the January/February 2024 intake (Second semester, Academic Year 2023–2024). The deadline for application is on 11 December 2023.
