ANNYEONG! Free Online Intermediate Korean Language Class @ UP Asian Center
The UP Asian Center in partnership with the Asia Center, Seoul National University through the generous support of the Korea Foundation, will offer a free INTERMEDIATE Korean Language classes to be held every Wednesday starting 31 January 2026, Online via Zoom. Applications for limited slots are open to AC Korea Majors, Asian Center students, and UP students. The deadline for registration for AC and UP Students is on 26 January 2026, 11:59 PM, PHT.

The Asian Center, University of the Philippines Diliman is looking for graduate assistants for the Office of the Dean, External Affairs, and the Research and Publications Office for the Second Semester, AY 2025–2026. The UP Asian Center, UP Center for International Studies, and the De La Salle University Southeast Asia Research Center and Hub are now accepting paper abstracts and panel submissions for the Hybrid International Conference on the Asian-African Conference of 1955, “Sejiwa: The Spirit of Bandung at 70.” The deadline for submissions is EXTENDED to 31 July 2025, 11:59 PM (Manila Time).

The UP Asian Center proudly welcomes Dr. Maria Reinaruth D. Carlos as the Center's new adjunct professor from June to January 2026. A Doctor of Economics and a Professor at the Ryukoku University Graduate School of International Studies in Kyoto, Japan, Dr. Carlos joins the Center bringing her rich academic and professional background, which spans multiple countries and disciplines.
