UP Asian Center's Siao Campoamor Recognized for Oustanding Research in Filipino
UP Asian Center Professor Gonzalo A. Campoamor II, Ph.D., has been conferred the 2026 Gawad Tsanselor para sa Natatanging Mananaliksik sa Filipino, one of the most prestigious distinctions awarded to the UP Diliman faculty for their exemplary accomplishments and contributions to their respective fields. The awarding ceremonies will be held on 8 May 2026, and can be watched live via the official UP Diliman website and YouTube Channel.

Wash Out | An Onsite Documentary Screening and Talkback

The UP Asian Center in partnership with the Asia Center, Seoul National University through the generous support of the Korea Foundation, will offer a free INTERMEDIATE Korean Language classes to be held every Wednesday starting 31 January 2026, Online via Zoom. The Asian Center, University of the Philippines Diliman is looking for graduate assistants for the Office of the Dean, External Affairs, and the Research and Publications Office for the Second Semester, AY 2025–2026. Almost all UP Asian Center faculty members were awarded the ONE UP Professorial Chair Grant for the 2025-2027 cycle in recognition of their research, teaching, public service and creative work. Out of the 17, eleven (11) members of the faculty were given the award.
